Here is our Termly Newsletter for you to read and have a look at what we will be getting up to this term.
Roald Dahl Day: The Twits
On Tuesday 13th September 2016 Roald Dahl would have celebrated his 100th Birthday!! To honour his amazing work, we have been reading the incredibly funny and disgusting book 'The Twits'.
During the week we have made Mr Twit Beards, using raw spaghetti, wool and a variety of card and paper. We the used adjectives to help us describe Mr Twit's dirty beard.
We have also made 'Mr Twits Hairy Scary Krispy Cakes' and 'Mrs Twit Glass Eye Cookies' all of which were shockingly good :)
We turned our role-play area into 'The Twits' house and created some super disgusting meals using cold spaghetti, jelly and black treacle!!! We acted out the 'Wormy Spaghetti' trick and then had a go at writing this part of the story.
